If you’d like some guidance with reception planning, we can give you some advice from the Weddings we have done in the past. Here is a sample program to get you started - but feel free to adjust it to suit your needs...
We've done all sort of themes inluding Hobbit (Lord of the Rings), Fantasy, Medieval, Irish, Scottish, Ceildh, Australian Bush and Australian Celtic.
Here are our prices up front... but if these prices don’t work for you, please let us know and maybe we can working something out.
- Four-piece band: $2,500 cash. This is a great choice for lively dance calling!
- Three-piece band: $2,000 cash. While this option comes with energy, it’s a bit less suitable for leading dances.
Every booking includes use of our PA system (musician's sound system), which you’re welcome to use for speeches near the stage. We'll help with the microphones so everything sounds crisp and clear.
Couple of optional extras if you would like them...
- Extra 2hr DJ set: $300. We'll stay back after the live music and play your favourite playlist through the sound system.
- Extra Colored Lights: $300. We have 6 additional coloured LED lights to help colour the room. (Beamz BAC506B ProPar 12x18W)
Your event will have four hours of dedicated attendance of the musicians, with up to three hours of performance. Within this time, we’re flexible to work around your schedule whether it’s speeches or cake cutting.
We will need a space about 6m wide and 2m deep for the band. If we are performing outside and there is any chance of rain, you will need to provide shelter over our area so our gear doesn't get wet.
We'll also need something small to eat and drink during the wedding.
If we have to travel far there could be additional travel and accomodation costs.
Ceremony Only?
If you’d like some quiet, pleasant atmospheric music during the ceremony, we recommend budgeting around $400 per musician. A celtic flute and guitar combination works beautifully.
